Nature is great. I understand why its called spoon creek falls now. Amazing little spot in the woods. It was not hard to find. Wynochee has no cell reception past mile post 16. Which is fine by me let nature be the radio. Follow maps just make sure you set your navaigation first. This is national park territory so bring your correct pass. Trail is easy to follow don't take the spurs that look less traveled. You will walk down hill all the way and away from the falls till the switch back. The trail head as others have said is no longer marked. Most of that area isn't anymore. If you want to get close to the falls you will get wet. I was able to make it to the large log sticking up and stayed dry.
The trail is easy, and takes about 10 minutes to get to the waterfall. Walking back to your car, be prepared to walk uphill, but it isn't that harsh. The place looks like a place that you would see in a movie! In the reviews people recommend to come in the summer, because you could walk in water to get better picture angles. I obviously came to this place in the summer. You can see in the pictures that the water is clear, and shallow.
Driving to this place is tricky, because unlike the other reviews, I didn't see much signs to this little place (leaving Alberdeen). Save the map on your phone, and make sure to save it OFFLINE! The first try, my phone's GPS took me through a private road, that ended drastically on a steep hill (almost like a cliff) without any warnings. After that I left that private road, and got back on Wynooche Valley rd, and my GPS recommend me to turn on Forest RD 23, and from there it was easy. I attached pictures of signs, so maybe it can help another person in my situation.
