I don't like a female receptionist wearing a headscarf. When I went to checkout today, her attitude was very cold and perfunctory throughout. I like sports and often come here to shop, but it's the first time I've had such an experience. It seems like I owe her money, a lady with a headscarf, it's really bad.

The Hillside Mall Sport Chek store is terrible - dirty, disorganized and not well stocked. Staff are not customer-focussed. I tried to buy a $15 item. It did not have a tag, so I showed them an identical item from the same rack (different colour) for reference. They would not complete the sale. Three staff members got involved, including a manager, and I was eventually told that I would have to wait indefinitely while they “go find the tag”. Sorry, but I have better things to do with my time. I will not be back.

My experience is solely based on the service that I received from Prapti at this location a couple of weeks ago (sorry for the late feedback)
I was browsing the store and about to leave when I met Prapti. She was exceedingly kind and approachable. After speaking with her for a few minutes and letting her know that I was on my way out she tried assisting me again and I ended up making the purchase. She made me feel valued as a customer, she was empathetic and understanding with a great sales touch. Not enough businesses have people like Prapti working for them these days. She is the kind of employee that helps build loyal customers, which are rare now.
Prapti, thank you so much for assisting me. I am happy to have come across your path. Keep up the excellent customer service!
