We have had awful experiences with the owners. They do not abide by rental rules. They are rude to the point of making the children upset and left crying. The owners threatening to kick people out for the simple reason they don't like the sign on your door, or the way your rv looks after they have taken a years rent. There are so many code infractions and safety issues that are not being addressed that I'm almost afraid to sleep at night. They are not concerned with threating people, intruding into homes, even if there are disabled children in the home. Try explaining to a disabled child why you are not good enough to have an rv space and why someone can yell at you randomly. There is no excuse for this. They have created an environment where they bully people, creating hate, all that after taking your money. They treat employees horrible as well.On-going problems. The sheriff was called by us and we were told yes, they are in the wrong.They are trying to take away amended rights as well as harrasing people. Code enforcement, safety issues, and broken tenant rights are going to be dealt with as I don't anyone else to have to suffer these injustices.
Reservations for Memorial Day weekend made in March were somehow double booked in May by staff and we were moved to another spot that did not have full hookups. The new spot was great but not with our friends who also booked spot next to us. They were eventually given their spot as the campground wanted to put them in a 30ft spot (they have a 42’ Class A motorhome). Were had a guest with a dog that was playing with a rock and barking which did our best to control. The neighbors left their dog in their camper barking all day, left their fire unattended on a windy morning and two chairs blew over which we rescued before much damage or spread of fire, they were also up till 2 am Friday night. When we checked out the office staff said we did not owe anything even after I tried to pay for one night (the other was comped) they continued to say we were good and did not owe anything. Tried to make a reservation for next year and was asked to call back. Then found out from our friends that we were not welcome to come back. It’s a beautiful campground but owners were not willing to stand behind their reservation confirmations and then blindsided us by not allowing us to reserve a spot for next year which was done for our friends, they have also not responded to emails or contacts on their web site.
