I wish I could say I had 5 star service like everyone else, that’s the reason we brought our car to this shop. He had our car for 7 weeks and in total paid around $5,000. Continued to get the runaround of when we would get the car back, multiple times he said it would be done in a few days. Gave him the benefit of the doubt. Got the car back and from his mistake of not blocking off certain lines, a cylinder in the motor was ruined. I understand mistakes happen and we brought the issue back and asked how to resolve this. After a lot of back and forth, he ended up giving $1,000 back and calling that a fair resolution. Had to go somewhere else to get a new motor installed. As a business owner you should own up to your mistakes and eat the cost of them, especially when it was your own mistake and not another technician. Customers bring you their cars trusting you will do right by them financially and on the work you provide. Very awful experience and poor customer service from the owner. I hope no one else ever has to go through this.
