The staff here are rude, short, and inefficient. It took them almost hours at a time to check in on my mom when she was in the ER. At one point, her call button was on for about 10 minutes until she was helped. Every bit of staff here seems so utterly peeved to be helping people. They had no desire to make her feel comfortable or reassured. And one of the RN’s kept on setting her call button on the counter behind my mom where she couldn’t reach it. Absolutely ridiculous. Never would I suggest coming here for any treatment or care.

My elderly father was taken here for very serious infection. The care he was given was great. However, the walker he used to enter the building was not given back to him upon discharge. The security staff will not search for missing items beyond lost and found, and the complaint line I was given goes strait to a disconnected line.

The nurses are amazing. Leave them out of this. The cancer palliative care team and the social workers on the other hand were absolutely useless and did more harm than good. The doctors were apathetic to treatment and giving honest answers to my mom so much so that I had to be present at all times to decipher their words for her. The palliative care team weren’t worth coming either and kept trying to steer my mom into hospice asap and the social worker offered putting my mom in a homeless when I couldn’t bring her home with me across the country. They just wanted the bed, they didn’t care if my mom lived or died. Everyone just kinda threw their hands up. Honestly this place and it’s admin are dangerous, don’t bring your sick here. Also They also refuse to do any kind of trauma informed work with patients. Don’t go here. Update: I flew my mom to Connecticut to Yale hospital and the difference was NIGHT AND DAY. Probably gave her a free extra months the quality of care was amazing. This hospital should be investigated.
