Best mart I've been too in a long time. Very very friendly customer service, great selection, good prices and fantastic location. The owner of this store needs a pat on the back!!

This happened 4 or 5 years ago and I know it would not matter now. (just needed to get it out) I was 19 at the time and was babysitting my 12 year old neighbor. We went in to buy snacks for the kid and I wanted to buy a lottery scratcher. I asked the cashier “can I please buy one lottery scratcher?”. I told him I was 19 and gave him my ID. He turned me down without looking at my ID, gave it back and said “ You have to be 21 to buy this.” I stood there for a couple seconds shocked. I know legally, lottery can be bought by 18 years or older by law. I didn’t fight back, The kid bought food and drink and we left.

I’m 24 now and people online are talking about buying their lotteries at age 18 and I just keep remembering being rejected in this store. I’m not sure if it is because of my height. I’m around 4’11 to 5 feet so I have the same height as a kid or a teenager, but even if I’m short, just scanning my ID or even looking at it (birthday) would remove that judgment.

Luckily, we found another liquor store near and I asked to buy a lottery scratcher. The cashier looked at my ID and allowed me to buy it. Even suggested to buy two, which I did.
