Awesome event. Really unique and innovative action-packed haunt with a huge courtyard of yard games to hang out post-event or for kids, fire pits, tons of food trucks with actually good food. Wish we came earlier to stay longer. Come early to avoid lines
I hate to give this a bad review because I wanted to love it sooo bad, but it just was not worth the money and the drive if you’re coming from the city or neighboring town. We purchased the double dare experience + the slide.
Pros: the apple cider donuts were hands down… the best part of the entire experience you have to get them. Lots of small activities and cute photo ops, food vendors were great, and the overall vibe 10/10 it really puts you in the halloween spirit.
Cons: Haunted house: who ever is in charge of logistics for the haunted house needs to reevaluate their plan. Groups of 8-10 people were just being funneled in without spacing and the result was just one long single file line of people walking through the haunted house which meant 95% of the time no one is actually interacting with you, or you’ve already seen the jump scares from 10 people in front of you. Even the actors looked like they were over the fact that there wasn’t spacing happening. I consulted with some friends who had gone prior and same experience. Id rather wait in line for twice as long and actually be scared then whatever lame excuse for a haunted house that was. I know trying to scale something like this is hard, but maxing out on ticket sales might not be the way to go because as it stands .. someone should revoke the scariest haunted house in washington award. 2/10
The blue haired girl at the slide: poor attitude. She was visibly and verbally upset and rude to everyone. Like literally screaming at people.. lol
Overall, I think there is a lot of potential here, everything except the haunted house was great. If management reorganizes their approach a little I really think it can be a good experience. Looking forward to trying it out again in the following year to see if any improvements are made.
