I placed an order for a magazine subscription, a mug and a shawl. The second part of the order was added when I found the mug and shawl. My wife dearly wanted these items for Christmas so I ordered well ahead of time ( Dec 1) The order went through. I was shocked to learn the second half of the order for the mug and a shawl was going to be $67 US ( $110 Cnd) for shipping, but did it anyways as my wife loved what she had seen on the website. Nothing arrived for Christmas. I thought OK it will be for her Birthday. The first package of the magazine arrived just prior to Jan. The second half the mug and shawl finally arrived Jan 11th, nearly six weeks after the order was placed. I was advised that the shawl had been backordered? If that was the case, why did the item show as available and placed in the cart when ordered on line. I would have expected to have some sort of reimbursement on the shipping. No dice. Just an apology saying the item had been back ordered. I will not order from them again. Inflated shipping costs and they don't' care once they have your money.
