Fantastic school. Kids absolutely adore it and are excited to go to school! It is the perfect blend for me: it allows me to spend some time with my kids in the classroom, and on my non-parent 'working' day, my child gets to briefly experience what it would be like without me, once they go to Elementary School. I particularly love that the school is built on open/group play and learning by social interaction.
I was first drawn to the preschool when I discovered that they offer 18 month old classes, and that the school didn't require potty training. I wasn't quite sure what to expect as I wasn't too familiar with a co-op and I wasn't sure how much I would have to be involved as a parent. All my answers and uneasiness were solved between the 'Open preschool day', and the membership meeting, before the classes started in Sept.
Teacher Beka was, and still is phenomenal, and she welcomed our family with open arms. Both my children warmed up to her quickly, making this an easy transition into the classroom setting. Baka is an amazing teacher: she provides and teaches them with the tools the children need on an intelligence and social-emotional level; she gets the children excited to learn and try new things; and she provides so many different outlets for the children to learn and understand how things work through group play.
It has been a truly amazing experience to watch my children's development at the preschool. I'm so glad we found this place!
