My usual place of choice for meals when visiting my grandma, originally wanted the cast iron pork but since everyone loved it an used all the bourbon glaze I opted for the halibut and mushroom broth instead, wonderfully light halibut and great earthy richness for the broth. Enjoyed a nice simple apriwhiskey: bourbon, apricot liqueur and lemon zest and an elderflower smash with the meal. Ill be back for the cast iron pork tho.

Love this place! Its a small town nice resturant. We are regulars but this is first review I have done. We have always received fantastic friendly service. Drinks are are good and reasonably priced. Food is always great, last night was the small exception but nothing horrible. We love the bone in pork chops they serve here and have ordered many times. Last night they were served pretty over done and dry, it did not take away from the GREAT flavor though and why we will be back for another. We mentioned it to our server and of course they made it right. Stuff happens and I am sure this was just an exception. You can encounter a problem with anything but its how people/establishments respond to the problem that make the difference. Stanwood Grill responded great to our issue and we left completely happy. They will never be perfect but they will be great 99% of the time.

First time here and it was delicious! Service was fast and friendly. We got there when they opened and it got packed fast! Specials on the chalk board when you walk in.
