The prices here compared to down the street are astronomical, there are never any sales here, and you are getting the same quality as Stoppie at double the price. This is what I found on my own.

Love this location , if you are looking for flowers this is the place to go, not to mention all the special sales they offer. I must tell you about the customer service at the flower department, the girl working there I believe her name is Dee? She is a Star all by herself. Out Going, Friendly and knows her flowers! She deserves to be recognized for how she promotes her position to assist you and make sure you are happy with your purchase! As for the Seafood Department, could use a little help with the assistance? The gentleman from the Deli stepped up to the plate to make it better!

Probably one of the worst supermarkets that I've ever been to. The management sucks the food selection is terrible they like to sell stuff that's out of date. Do yourself a big favor and shop somewhere else because if you shop at the Star market in Quincy you will not be happy about anything that relates to that store. The vegetables are subpar and like I said a lot of stuff is out of date especially the meat so if you want food poisoning go ahead and shop there but I suggest you go somewhere else stop and shop isn't too far away, and there's a Shaw's in Braintree which by the way is affiliated with star market so I suggest that you stay away from Shaw's as well. Oh and one more thing, the food is overpriced you can get a much better deal at stop & shop or Roche Brothers for that matter or any other supermarket other than star.
