Definitely a must visit place for every coffee lovers! First ever Starbucks! Nostalgic! There are exclusive Starbucks merchandises made available here at the first store. It is at the prime location of pike place market street. Has some waiting time (long queues during peak hours) to get in to see the first store and worth the time waiting. Loved it. Absolutely fantastic experience to witness first store of Starbucks! p.s. take out only, & a small store!
On its own, it is just a very small Starbucks with very little room inside and a few shelves of items. But for true coffee lovers, you can't visit Seattle without seeing the original little coffee kiosk that started the American coffeeshop commercial explosion.
Really, just an unassuming coffee kiosk shop. They left the well worn wood, shingle signs, and a lot of old original packages in the rafters for fun. I'm an early riser and walked right in when they opened. By the time the market opens, the line can get fairly long. Seems to be shorter closer to closing time again. You can't skip a visit when in Seattle.
I'm so glad I got to visit the original Starbucks store in Pike Place Market, Seattle! As a coffee lover and Starbucks fan, it was a pilgrimage of sorts. The moment I walked in, I felt like I was stepping into history. The store still maintains its classic charm, with the iconic siren logo and rustic wooden accents.
We ordered different brews, which was fitting, and it did not disappoint. The brew was rich and smooth, just like I expected. But what made this experience truly special was the sense of nostalgia and the knowledgeable baristas, who shared stories about the store's history and significance.
Seeing the original Starbucks store was a thrill, and I loved the memorabilia and photos on the walls. It's amazing to think about how far the company has come since its humble beginnings in this very spot.
If you're a coffee enthusiast or just looking for a unique experience, the original Starbucks store is a must-visit. Be prepared for a crowd, but it's worth it!
