First time at Stater Bros. To be honest we love Ralph’s, but there was none. There was a Vons next door but the Stater Bros ads on Hulu just sold us. I must say - I was pleasantly surprised.
The grocery chain is very well stocked, as most should be. But their selection of ready-to-go food and bakery products are quite good. Also the discounts on wines are pretty awesome too.
The only thing I would change is to have more cashiers. There were at least 20 people in line but only 3 cashiers were open. It took about 20 mins to check out.
Other than that, no complaints. Will very likely visit soon again.
Was a disappointment coming here because the deli no longer does custom sandwiches and only has the premade half soggy sandwhiches.... this was the only reason i came here vs getting groceries at Vons across the street, and the potatoe wedges had like burnt plastic taste/smell to them which was probly a problem with their oven or something. Ended up going to Vons across the street for the rest of our trip for groceries. Highly disappointed though about them not doing custom sandwiches anymore as they were super good and priced decently 😕
The sign on the left of the building says full service also which is no longer true and is basically misleading advertising in my opinion.
