Yikes! It pains me to do this to a locally owned establishment. I would love to support them over chains any day. It took an abnormally long time to receive our food, even with no other orders in the restaurant. I picked up my "philly" which had an abysmal amount of meat and cheese, and everything fell out the back. Who serves a Philly like that? Ended up eating it with a fork. The worst was the bite size. It came out looking like little Salisbury steak patties (not the typical LCV cube style). It was criminally overcooked and underseasoned. It just looked like dead flesh....inedible. The waitress saw and offered to bring out a new plate, which we graciously accepted. The next bite size looked better, as they seasoned it this time (with some kind of teriyaki sauce...which is a whole other issue lol). It was well done, once again. The waitress apologized and stated the cook lost his thermometer. Who needs a thermometer to cook bite size lol? Is he going to stab each piece of tiny meat individually? The final slap in the face was a 15% discount for all of that.. The server seemed genuine and nice, and she is the only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one.
