02/2024 enjoyed our lunch /breakfast. Service was top notch, filling my wife's coffee frequently. My omelette was good and my wife enjoyed her breakfast. Can't wait for the warmer weather to return so we can sit outside.
09/2023 Food is usually very good. Last time we went was a little bland. Maybe a new cook?
We love sitting outside during the summer. Since this place attracts an older crowd they like to sit inside so the outside seating is never full and the view of the river makes it worth it.

Nice restaurant and nice service. I would just say the atmosphere is lacking.
Got the Sterlings eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce is different. The Menu says so, but I really didn't like it the way they make it. Wish it was just normal.

Everything was pretty much great except for the breakfasts that we had there. I ordered the traditional eggs benedict, but the hollandaise sauce was awful, which is a huge component of that particular dish, and very disappointing! It seemed like it was made from a powder or came from a can. The texture was slightly grainy, and it tasted 100% like a cheese sauce, and that was all they had for hollandaise. (The ham was good though). My husband ordered the gondola, and the biscuits were gummy at the bottom and stuck to the roof of the mouth. The "sausage" gravy in it also tasted like it came from a can or a powder. For the price we paid for these dishes, this is unacceptable. On the upside, the waitress comped me the eggs benedict, and her service was impeccable... no complaints there whatsoever. The atmosphere was very nice as well. Maybe their dinner service is better, but we will not be going back for breakfast again.
