My significant other has been struggling to find help and found this man’s listing on Psychology Today website. It stated that he specialized in trauma etc. and that he accepted the provider we have. It listed a phone number that we called. He was incredibly rude and unprofessional from the moment he answered. He acted as if the phone call itself was an inconvenience to him and and his tone was cold and unhelpful. How do you call yourself a professional, have your info listed, then when someone in a very vulnerable position calls you and back you act as if they aren’t bothering you and gone against but all the info you posted?! You say your practice is full but I think you are a fraud. DO NOT CONTACT HIM IF YOU REALLY NEED HELP! You will only be set back in your journey further.

I only saw Steven once and I canceled the second because I didn't feel like he was a good fit for me. I made no commitments or appointments after. Come to find out my insurance reported he has 4 appointments claimed. I would not trust this guy, which is disappointing since trust is the very foundation of this profession.

He has a very aggressive tone as a therapist if you are a fan of that type of thing. Very money oriented, which is fine, but he also isn't the most up front about when he is charging you. I quit him after a remote session that only lasted 45 minutes (not an hour) but he charged the full rate. Also gave me the impression he would look into my insurance and had me send it to him, gave me no reply, and then said at the next consultation that he couldn't legally bill insurance. Which again is fine, but not very upfront, he has bad people skills for someone in his profession.
