We needed to replace old carpet in our home. We bought new laminate flooring from Strait Floors and they installed it. Eric steered us to a great product and the install crew was great.

While the flooring is lovely, we have had a lot of issues. Originally it was laid as a floating floor but has buckled over and over. The original installer said he’d come out and fix and he did come out but the repair didn’t last more than a week. I called the company after we could no longer get the original installer out or to return our calls. I have called and they sent an installer out to look at it and it was decided it needed to be glued down. Now I feel as if the company is giving me the run around about scheduling this repair. We bought the flooring and paid in full for the flooring in good faith. Feeling frustrated. It’s hard to “support local shops” when they don’t super ya back. Hoping this gets resolved.

Straight Flooring does it all! We recently bought a house here in Port Townsend and Eric, Derrick and Wes helped us fix it up just the way we wanted it. Wes installed beautiful wooden blinds on our windows, Derrick got us a rug for the guest room and Eric installed a gorgeous quartz counter top in our kitchen.
