I am a 40 years old former gymnast with a lots of bad posture habits. Melanie has given me an advanced workout I was never able to have before making my body feel strong and together. With her precise instructions, adjustments from head to toe and encouragement, I have learned to use the arches of my feet correctly, to stop locking my knees and arching my back, and open my shoulders. In our sessions, we worked on some pretty bad ass Pilates moves while she would also teach me all about Pilates History and Anatomy. She knows her stuff! I also did Pilates with Melanie through my entire pregnancy…I could not recommend it more. I had zero back pain all along, it made labor (without epidural) much easier and I gave birth in the most epic goddess pose! Do it!
