I did damage to three discs in my lower back in early March 2024. I started rehabilitation at Summit in April. Dr. Henningsen focused on pain control and strengthening in the area of the injury. I explained that I want it off the painkillers. Nerve injuries are really strange the way they affect your muscles. Dr. Henningsen was able to find muscles that had literally seized up. Using deep massage, he release the muscles back to functioning. I came in to their clinic, pushing a stick, and within the first few sessions was able to walk without that cane. I combined my treatment at Summit with chiropractic. In two months, I was able to resume, some of my activity. I now use stretching to regain my freedom of movement. But I believe it was the focus on critical form with summit that help me to regain a lot of function. It definitely helped me to get off the painkillers.

I had ankle surgery almost two months ago. My surgeon (Dr Mark Reed with Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle) did a stellar job, but then it was my turn to not waste his work. I chose Summit due to their proximity to my home, and consider it pure serendipity that I did. Dr Christian Henningsen is kind, caring, and exceptional at his job. He has helped me with balance, strength, and sensory issues. His knowledge and expertise have helped me with my follow-up visits with Dr Reed. Every time I leave from my appointments, I feel better. I'm not back to full strength, but it's in sight. Highly recommend.

Last year I had complete knee replacement surgery and cannot say enough about the quality care in my rehab with Summit! Christian Henninsen and Jill Zimmerman were on point, professional, personable, and effective. DO THE WORK and the rewards will follow! This past week I was doing deep squats with weight on the new knee... something I could not have done 10 years back on the failing knee... no problems! THANK YOU Christian and Jill! 5 STARS! (Oh and I hear the sister Summit on Ave D is pretty good too... like 4.5 stars. Hahahaha! )
