Absolutely the worst reservation system ever! I made reservations in July for 4 campsites, when I called to confirm I was told they were gone so I made new reservations in June and was told there were no cabins. When I arrived there were 6 cabins empty. Then they tried to charge me for July, they mysteriously found my reservation, but I had gone in June already. Then my daughter made two nights in July in a cabin but when she got there they only had 1 night available. 4 hour drive with 3 toddlers and all she got was that’s too bad. Apparently reservations aren’t what they used to be. Go to Blue lake, they know how to take and reserve cabin’s without controversy. And to top it off they still charged our credit cards for their mistakes, now I have to go thru the hassle of denying payment for their inability to understand how to use their “reservation” system.

We have gone to sun lakes the past couple summers and have a great time. I wish they would update the cabins, but we stay in a mobile and it works great.
The ice cream at Duke’s is our favorite snack.

Would love more shade, but I love this campground. Great water access and areas. Wonderful workers always. Well taken care of. I love having the diner/Cafe window service, store, gift shop, taffy!, and the rental options.
