This Pre School is predominantly Korean based students and Korean Teachers to the Korean principal owners. I would say 90% are Korean kids, other 10% are Asian kids.
My child has been going to Sunny Hills since she was 3. Now my daughter is 4, and the overall experience as a parent has been better than satisfactory.
I have multiple families that sends this school who are not only thankful of all the teachers and principals, but they maintain such an environment that helps and guides the parents, rather than telling parents what their kids need to do.
I also have several other families who sends their child to different pre schools , and it definitely seems like Sunny Hills stand out from over all experience to the kid and to the parents.
Most schools do not help with potty training process or the clean. ThisAlot of preschools will ask parents to volunteer and donate on every ... I mean EVERY KOREAN HOLIDAYS that shouldn't even be counted in the U.S.. but alot of schools will do that and ask you to either come and support their work or/and donate money for the food for the whole class.
Sunny Hill will probably ask parents to donate somewhere between $10-20 depending on the event (Thanksgiving, Christmas present for the child, etc) and they will let you know usually a week ahead.
They do have small parking, so during drop off and pick up hours, it will be hectic. But their doors are locked during school hours, and they will only release the child to either the parent or an adult who have the permission to pick up the child.
I have nothing but great things to say to the Sunny Hills, although there are no 100% satisfied businesses, this school is probably the best in terms of staff quality, food quality, education , and location in Buena Park.
