Our solar system has been faulty since November of 2021. SunPower started the repair process of June of 2021 and it will be February of 2023 before they'll come out to "repair" it. It wasn't until we filed this complaint with BBB that anyone has reached out to us. In the meantime we are paying THOUSANDS of dollars in PGE true up fees and also our monthly solar panel payment. We will not be happy until we are reimbursed some kind of of way financially and our panels are replaced and working 100%. And our advice for anyone reading this - do NOT do business with SunPower. Our installer even dropped them because they were a nightmare to work with. Edit to add: SunPower will not replace our faulty microinverters without replacing the monitoring system first. So we waited a few months for the to do that step. They come out, replace the monitoring system, and then find out SunPower is down and they can’t connect our new system to SunPower! “We’ll have to come out again” Are you kidding me?! I received an email today saying the earliest appointment is March 17th, over a month from now. So all of the time between now and then will have NO monitoring happening. We just received an email from PGE saying we’re on track for a high bill this month for $845. We are drowning in electricity charges, plus paying $273 a month for panels that don’t work. We’re seriously considering our legal options at this point because this is absolutely ridiculous.
