I hate writing negative reviews but it needs to be done. One star given for kindness but the way business was done was terrible.
-Dress dropped off for 3 small alterations August 23. -Ready date Sept 2. No problem, don’t need it until Sept 16. -Came in to pick up Sept 11 and upon touching it, a badly sewn area immediately came loose. Communication was difficult due to a language barrier and the man in store had to call his wife to help with anything. I was told it would be fixed and ready for pick up on Sept 13. Not happy, but fine. -Came in sept 14 for pick up, dress wasn’t ready or even in store. Was told it would be ready sept 15. I was very upset with this since if it didn’t fit well I’d have only one day to find an alternative. I asked if I’d have to pay full price for this service and was told “no no no” (I blame the language barrier for this). -Came in sept 15th, picked up the dress. The “fixed” area was very noticeable as a not straight line right across the front and another area was pulled back more than one side so the top was now uneven. I was too annoyed with the entire process to say anything and paid for my item. I did not receive any apology for the issues or discount, total was $55 and I did not tip. Also 2 more strings came loose when I tried it on at home.
I will not be returning here or recommending this place. From reading other reviews it sounds like the recent owner changes are to blame. Do yourself a favor and do not come here for alterations.
