This place is so awesome. There has not been a time I have come here that either they help me and or someone else. Tim is a super nice man. The other employees love their jobs and are like a little family. When you are a regular customer, you feel like you are part of the family too. I wish more places were like this but unfortunately it seems places like this are not as prevalent as the heartless chain drug stores (I had a CVS lady tell me there was no way to see if other locations had my pain meds from having knee surgery and that I should drive around to each location, get out of my car and walk in on crutches? Ugh she so did not care that I was in pain AND driving around is a huge deal when you have had a recent surgery. Terrible) Back to happy thoughts and talking about really good people. On several occasions I have heard Tom say things like "just get Visise. It is $3 and the stuff your doctor wrote a prescription for is $175 and your wife doesn't really need it nor is it really worth the extra dough." Or calmly, on a busy day, and slowly telling an elderly woman "part you hair and put it directly on your scalp to make sure the medicine is going on your skin instead of in your hair. " I felt proud when I told him a trick for keeping a full leg brace to keep from slipping and he did not already know that hack (if one puts a rubberized type ace bandage around 3 inches above the top of their ankle, the rubberized bandage does not allow brave to slip down) I also found my great chronic pain doctor (most doctors do not want to touch me with a ten foot pole because I have significant pain issues) I looked for a good doctor for YEARS - Big thanks to Glatt Medical and Dr. Daniel Glatt! I asked Tom and of course he knew the good doctors with old school practices. None of this Kaiser cr*p or One Medical group where you are supposed to email your doctor!?! Like one can get medical attention over the Internet and with out being in front of a doctor in person. I'm sure the insurance companies love this but it makes people go through needless hassle and or does not get the patient the help needed. I even moved to Silicon Valley and drive up to get my medical needs filled. It is WAY worth the drive. I'd drive to LA to get this kind of care! Not that I would have to because I'm sure if I had a problem
Sunshine Pharmacy has the best hours of operation and staff that I have enjoyed deal with the past 5-7 years. I simply drop off my prescription and either wait for my medication or come back the next day. There is ample parking available if you drive there. The two Pharmacist (Tom & Dennis) simple are the best I have dealt with than other stores. I'll be their customer for life!
