I chose this place for my first haircut having recently moved to Seattle, and I'm so glad I did. Just call and you can typically get an appointment within a day or two.
I got ~9 inches off into a layered long bob with textured ends, and Tam was precise and extremely communicative and responsive about the length and style I wanted.
As of now, $25 base for a women's cut before tip - insanely affordable compared to other places, and she does take card. Tam is also extremely hygienic and safe (she even wiped down my credit card).
Tam is wonderful -- she gives careful haircuts to specifications and is good at working from photos, or from conversation about what the client wants.
Several months ago I moved from Lake City down to Ballard and had tried a few other salons in the area-- after paying nearly double the price for two inferior haircuts in a row, I am happy to be making the drive across town to get my hair cut by Tam again. She is skilled, efficient, and the price cannot be beat!
