Since I posted the following message, Art responded. He came on Saturday, October 1 to assess problem. Apparently not a sealer issue but uncurred sand issue. He scrubbed the whole area removing the scum. He came back on Monday and continued some more scrubbing, blew dry the whole area and now applying the sand. He advised that no more sealer be applied. Asked thst I wait a year and if I think sealer is needed, he will come back and apply for free. 👍🏻👍🏻

I hired Superior Paving Systems to resurface my paver driveway and walkway a couple of months ago. A couple of weeks after the job was completed I was washing the walkway with the garden hose and the pavers were sudsing. I sent a picture to Art, I have never seen this before! He denied it was the result of his sealer. Then came our big rain storm on September 18. Upon checking my driveway the following morning and found the whole driveway a sudsing, cloudy mess! I sent Art a video of the driveway saying this is proof his sealer is causing the problem. He has not responded. I asked another company who installed my neighbor’s driveway, and it is their opinion it is bad sealer. I do hope they can remove it. It looks really bad!

Terrible job cleaning and detailing our pavers.

Sand and grit sprayed everywhere. Many gaps between pavers not filled, others filled but not activated and all the sand washed out during a recent big storm. The sealer has left some white marks, and they didn’t remove all the winter leaf stains before applying.

Superior’s service has been dumbed down. We used Superior once before, pre-Covid. Two guys started by protecting everything with sheets of plastic. Both worked hard all day with wands and a surface cleaner. They used knives to scrape the sand out of the joints, scrubbed out all the stains, took down the plastic, filled the gaps, activated the polymeric sand and cleaned up beautifully. Then they returned the next morning for touch-up. Two guys, 8+ hours each. Don’t remember the cost.

This year we were happy to arrange another visit, gulped at the price but felt the quality of their work was worth it. Wrong. This time: no plastic sheeting, a mess and faulty work. One guy, 5 hours, $400 an hour, $2,000 total. There are people outside Home Depot who could have done the job better.

Which Superior will show up on YOUR job? Don’t assume it will be the same quality as last time.

I can't recommend Art and the entire Superior Paving Systems team highly enough! From start to finish, my experience with them has been exceptional.
