Kathy has been working with my son for a year now and I can't begin to express how grateful I am to have her as our speech therapist. I had concerns that he would eventually need to start school and not have enough vocabulary to do so in a regular setting. Fortunately for us, Kathy started seeing my son and in the one year we have been with her, my son has quadrupled the number of words he can say. He forms sentences and even tells stories all on his own!
She works so well with him and she's able to gear her sessions such that he's always fully engaged. She's a natural when it comes to kids.
She is very professional and knowledgeable. She takes the time to explain to me why she does specific activities with my son. She also provides ideas and activities that can be used outside of a therapy session to continue to make progress.
She has also been extremely flexible with our scheduling. I travel a long distance so my son can see Kathy so it's extremely important that we have flexibility. Her accommodations are above and beyond.
We look forward to continue seeing Kathy as our speech therapist and I feel at peace knowing my son will start school soon and will be able to communicate with his teachers and peers.
