Transitioning to motherhood can be brutal to say the least. Going from weekly prenatal visits to one follow up at six weeks postpartum can leave so many of us feeling lost, unsupported and overwhelmed. This is where Carlin shines. She understood what the final weeks leading up to my due date felt like and was exactly who I needed in my corner for the fourth trimester. I struggled with postpartum depression and anxiety along with feeling completely foreign in my post c-section body. She offered guidance and resources in such a compassionate calming and realistic way. She understood what it’s like being a new mom and struggling to carve out even 5 minutes for self care. Everything she had to offer felt completely doable and felt like it helped put the pieces of myself back together. I am forever grateful for her!

I cannot emphasize enough just how incredible Carlin and her services are. I felt heard, supported, and encouraged during our session and came away with useful information and direction for addressing areas I had expressed concern about. After our session I felt an immediate clarity and calm that I had not anticipated. Within 24 hours, I had pain relief by implementing simple breathing and stretches she recommended. She has the knowledge and skill set to provide a thorough and immediate analysis of not just physical and emotional needs, but also the logistics of the day to day routine and nuances of interpersonal dynamics, to name a few. She is a gifted listener, has a calm and grounding energy, and brings an enormous amount of knowledge in to her practice. I highly recommend Carlin and her services to any mother, no matter what stage she is at in her motherhood journey.

I came to see Carlin to explore some pain and discomfort i'm feeling in my body. I am 4 years post partum but i'm noticing some changes that I think are hormonal and overall connected to my "newish" postpartum body. I was welcomed into her space and offered tea or water. The space is clean, welcoming and not clinical which was nice. Carlin is present and calm and an excellent listener. I came in with a list of things that I was wondering about and she heard it all. I appreciate how she was able to work with my body - understanding the way different body systems might be connected. I felt safe with the way she worked with my body - she understands and talks through what she's feeling. In addition to the body work she offered frameworks / ideas that were connected to my heart and mind, I felt seen as a whole person, more than a body that could be to be fixed. I left my session feeling physcially better and emotionally grounded. A few days after our session I reached out to Carlin to share some observations I was making and she quickly responded - affirming my experience and offering me some ideas connected to my initial concerns. I look forward to my next session with Carlin.
