first off, i LOVE to cook and am experienced in all walks of the culinary world. but you are really paying top dollar for your items at this location.
i dont know if other locations are cheaper since they arent on santana row, but the prices are outrageous. i saw a cake stand that can double into a punch bowl that i got for 8 dollars elsewhere (i think target?). at sur la table it was around 25 bucks.
but they have a wide selection of items, from mid quality to top quality. you can find mandolines, damascus blades and silicone baking mats here. but you can also get the more basic things like potato peelers, cookie cutters or other basic stuff.
