I had the pleasure of engaging this company to paint my house which had been horribly neglected by another owner. The difference between what it had been and its beautiful appearance now is the difference between night and day.
Dealing with Larry and his crew was a delight; they worked together harmoniously and every detail was taken care of perfectly. They were all very capable and I will say, perfectionists. Next on my agenda is to have them paint the interior. I recommend Surface by Design without any hesitation; very professional, always on time. It was a joy having them!

BEWARE Please read They are a very unpredictable company. They owe us repairs on our estate we resently hired them on. Broke contracts and have a very poor relationship with their own employees. The owner Larry gave us a bid on our home and left his company for over a month for vaction saying he has a "team" he trusted. The worst ever experience we had, with Ryan his rogue employee botched everything he touched practically. Flashing, painted over nails, shotty drywall work. Everything needed to be redone or fixed. Not to mention the constant DRAMA you get listening to all the problems your stuck with! Larry came back, and PROMISED to make us happy and fix this entire mess. He fixed some of it and promised to finish and return after he helps the other clients that got screwed over and take care of his new bids. Well he is too busy now and we're stuck with a huge mess and here TO WARN EVERYONE to not TRUST THIS COMPANY. We have to hire another company now and redo Surface by designs mistakes and damages. We waited patiently for Larry it's been 3 weeks since he said he'd be back to finish he's not, fair to say he's out. Beware of this company, karma isn't on his side especially when good people get screwed over by him repeatedly. We will be happy to talk to anyone about this company and our experience with them. We also are getting a billed! and that's a entirely different subject, needless to say the invoices are written unprofessional and I'd be happy to show those as well. We will be filing a complaint and have everything in writing and photos. We owe nothing to them, they completely messed up my beautiful home, we are definitely not happy. Look them up throughly and see for yourself at least before you hire them. They have outstanding issues you can see when you look up the company.

We interviewed several painters for our home in Concrete. There were bids that were much higher and some that were less, but we chose Larry because of his transparency and experience. He had an impressive knowledge of products, techniques and made us feel like he was someone we could trust. His communication was excellent and the attention to detail was incredible. He spent time with us explaining and describing his process and timeline so we would know what to expect and then delivered exactly what he said he would! Very impressed and will use Surface by Design for all of our future projects.
