This place is located discreetly within an office park/building but it is a hidden gem! There are many selections to choose from whether it's sushi or sashimi or maki or items from the kitchen. Always check out the specials board for chef-curated items like Japanese A5 wagyu sushi/sashimi or ankimo (monkfish liver). There are even deluxe versions of some of their entrees like chef's choice sashimi or deluxe chirashi. Any food knows it's not the freshness of the fish that makes a good sushi bar. The fish is fresh but it is the preparation of the fish that makes this place how good it is. We tried items from the kitchen as well like the karage and overall everything was delicious and top notch. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current respiratory hygiene guidelines. Recommended.

Sushi Ota was recommended to me almost 30 years ago. It's still the best Sushi in San Dog. We ate there 4 times in the last 4 weeks. Go Blue Fin and/or bellies! Expect $75+ PP for the good stuff with some drinks.
