If you like waiting on hold, this is the doctor's office for you. I have had to call the office dozens of times (along with multiple pharmacies, multiple times) to try to fill a prescription from the Issaquah Swedish Otolaryngology department and every time, I am on hold for no less than 15 minutes. There have been times that I have waited for close to an hour only to finally be answered by the after hours answering service. After doing my own research, I found out that the prescription I need is only available at 7 specialty pharmacies (of which non are preferred pharmacies by my insurance). Shouldn't the prescribing doctor know and communicate that the prescription is not widely available? If they didn't know in advance, shouldn't they be the ones to figure it out by the second, third, fourth or fifth call? Not at this office.

I'm very grateful to Dr See Young Chris Yang. He performed a tonsillectomy on me, since my tonsils had bothered me for years with tonsil stones. Months later, I have just had a sleep study that shows my sleep apnea is cured! He also fixed my deviated septum and reduced my turbinates so I can breathe out of my nose more easily.

This was easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a doctor’s office. I went to this office after being referred by an urgent care doctor who treated me for an inner ear infection. I was in incredible pain and this doctor didn’t listen to me, didn’t even update my vitals and my weight, literally berated me saying “maybe I had TMJ” and that she could prescribe me a steroid cream for pain. When I expressed how badly it hurt, she said she could clean my ear and then cleaned just one ear. This provider was extremely rude and lacked empathy on a scale no one who services people should. I spent over thirty minutes alone in the waiting room despite having an appointment, and they literally forgot I was there until I said I needed to use the bathroom and would be right back to keep waiting: they apologized for the “miscommunication”. Then I got a bill for $300 after insurance. I left feeling incredibly dismissed and still in pain. I would not recommend this provider to anyone.
