Unfortunately our experience was ruined by the unprofessionalism displayed by the two members of staff who served us today. There was clearly a long line of people waiting but rather than serve anyone, you could clearly hear the female member staff complaining to the man about her shift times and duties etc, and they both completely ignored about a dozen customers waiting for them in line. They were so busy talking amongst themselves when serving us that they didn't even realise I paid and tried to stop me from leaving before I told them to check and confirm that I've already paid - is it that hard to just focus on your customers instead of complaining about how busy it gets amongst yourselves?

I don’t really write Yelp reviews but I felt compelled to say something from this mind blowing experience. Honestly this is the only ice cream shop I actually drive to. Others I’ve just had postmates deliver a pint cause of the hassle. I keep coming back to this location for 2 reasons. 1) My guy Terrell. Everytime I come in he comes up with a delicious ice cream cocktail unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. You want a sundae? You’ll get a sundae but it’s gonna rock your world and you won’t even understand why. He kind of brings back an element of the cold stone out where you could build your own ice cream. B ut rather than gamble with ingredients, Terrell has this sixth sense of knowing how to make it all come together nicely. 2) the ice cream. It’s the best quality ice cream I think. All the ingredients are organic and real. Nothing synthetic about it. I highly recommend paying a visit to Sweet Rose and ask for Terrell!

I've been here many times, and it's still a great fresh ice cream product, but recently the prices have jumped out of the building and into the stratosphere - errr maybe closer to Topanga State Park. A one scoop cone is roughly $10.
