The layout of the campsites is clearly designed to fit as many people as possible. Aside from a few spots near the lake you will have no privacy and will likely have more people around you than where you live. The area I stayed in the low As was just terrible! No water, no shade, no view, far from restrooms, and just behind some destitute wood house. The place also has loads of people coming to the day use area or to bring boats into the lake. Its a shame because the lake is beautiful and the area has potential for a much better experience.

Love this place to camp. Each camp site has paved driveway for parking. Easy accessible flush toilet bathrooms that are super clean. Looks like they clean them every day. Each campsite has a large fire pit for cooking and heat. Bring lots of wood or buy it along the way. The river is super nice for kayaking and fishing. We sat in the morning and watched the fish jump. How relaxing. Plenty of parking in some sites. Enough for trailer and or Boat parking. Make sure you know the camp hours as they do close at night. If you’re not in by 10 PM you will need to park on the highway and walk in.

This was my second time staying here. Friendly staff, nice campsites. No campfires this time of year but could have them earlier in the summer. There are faucets and buckets for dousing the fire. Traffic on the road (FS-90) can be heard but it's not bad. Eagle Cliff Park and Eagle Cliff Store & Camp are just down the road, 5 min drive.
