Very disappointed. We had purchased two phones through TMobile and specifically mentioned that we need it unlocked because we travel frequently between the US and Europe. They told us that we can unlock our phones anytime after a couple of months and that we will have no issues when traveling abroad. So therefore we had purchased the phones and are paying monthly for it. I just went back to TMobile to have my phone unlocked before my departure, and I am now told that I have to pay in full in order to have my phone unlocked so I can use a European SIM card.

If I would have known, then I would have just purchased the phone directly from Apple, pay monthly, and get it unlocked.

Clearly there seems to be a lack of communication among the staff at this store with three different people telling me different things.

If you are a person that needs to travel, then I do not recommend buying a phone through them since they will not unlock your phone unless you pay in full. Lying also seems to be a great strategy in selling their stock of phones. Should have just gone to apple.
