TPU has a singular gift for hiring the worst people I've ever talked to. This time it was a man who wanted to charge me non-resident rates because their system hadn't activated my account yet, even though I showed him the email stating that my TPU account may take some time to fully activate (it finally activated today - 10 days later).
Dealing with TPU is literally the worst thing I've found about living in Tacoma, from my water that they shut off after I activated my account the first time I moved to town, to their garbage tsar this time. They never fail to disappoint and prove why monopolies are criminalized.
