The campground often fills up, ever since National Geographic article in 2013 really put the area "on the map". But it is still an absolutely gorgeous place. Try for mid-week to avoid the crowds. We found the campground and most of the sites small, but fairly well seperated. Several easy trails in the area make exploring fun. Be sure to have your camera when you walk the trail along the lake shore!

Takhlakh Lake is a nice lake with nice views of Mount Adams Volcano.

Pretty lake. Great for fishing and hiking.
