Tamara Bunn

Dr. Bunn is a very thorough physician. She will have you get scans, bloodwork, prescribes pills(you don’t need) that you didn’t even think about or have been asked about by any physician. She however had no personality, writes notes on a pad of paper at the same time reading your chart and never looks at you in the eye. She will ask the same question multiple times when it’s right in your chart and you’ve already answered her twice. We changed to this clinic because it was closer to our home and she was recommended. Recently a family member had been very frustrated about not getting being able to get in to a specialist. He vented his frustration and said a not nice word to the nurse. The frustration was not directed at the clinic, Dr. Bunn or the nurse but my family member was told that we would be up for review to determine if we could still come to the clinic. She however did not tell me that at my appointment which was the same day. She certainly had no issue taking more money for our appointments that day but I’m reasonably sure she had already decided in her unprofessional mind that we were no longer going to be patients. A week later we received a letter stating that we could no longer be seen by her. Personally, I’m A okay with that. I’ve only seen her 2 times and was not impressed AT ALL. I still have a GP so I find this outlandish and do not recommend her as a physician. The clinic, the nurses are great and I appreciate all they provide for community.

Dr. Tammy Bunn is one of the most thorough and thoughtful family practice physicians in the south sound area. Her breadth of knowledge and resources are expansive and she takes the time to get to know you and any issues you might have. The office staff at Yelm family practice is amazing and helpful and they do whatever it takes to make sure you are on the right track with your health, encouraging along the way to make smart choices. I have known her for years and know that her dedication to this community runs very deep. I highly recommend her as a family practice physician and believe she is a doctor who puts in that extra effort.
