We worked with Tammara and her associate Carolyn on decorating and designing a newly constructed home in Laurelhurst.
It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Tammara and Carolyn. We started with a very rough idea of how we wanted to approach our home. Tammara and Carolyn delivered a stunning plan for our 4000 sq. foot home which incorporated our ideas, including pieces of furniture we were interested, but extended it far, far beyond what we could have pictured or accomplished on our own.
Tammara and Carolyn have fantastic vision and understand how to create individual spaces that compose a coherent home. They have an amazing sense of color, texture, and function. They find pieces and ideas that are surprising. They're collaborative and while they bring a sense of what they think will work to the conversation, they also are very open to ideas and they (over and over again) found paths to integrate our ideas and preferences.
They are also absolutely wonderful human beings and we are lucky to know them. Thank you so much for helping us not just realize the vision we had but helping us have a much better and bigger vision and for bringing it to fruition.
I came across Tammara Stroud Design via HOUZZ while searching for the right designer to help us with the studs out remodel of our Madrona home and fell in love with the design aesthetic. Meeting Tammara in person, I fell in love with her! Having interviewed a few other designers that came personally recommended, I was hoping to meet someone who would stand apart from the rest. Tammara is the whole package: professional, creative, original, focused, organized, responsive, kind and collaborative. Tammara is a problem solver. From our very first meeting she listened carefully to us. She came up with a design for our entire home, from faucets to flooring to furniture and lighting. Not only does Tammara have impeccable design skills that she used to create a beautiful environment that is completely in sync with our family, she is also really strong in space planning. This is something that we and several architects had been struggling with for years while trying to reconfigure our small home. Tammara walked in and immediately had a vision that completely turned the project in the right direction. We could not be happier with everything she, Carolyn and their entire team have done for us. They went above and beyond to deliver incredible service. Tammara was conscientious, suggesting vendors, advocating for us and sourcing beautiful materials that fit our budget. She has been respectful of our process and so patient throughout a long project that has had many ups and downs (none of which were related to her work). We trust Tammara.
