Tappi was a last minute decision for dinner, and it was the best decision! We did not have a reservation, so they asked if we would be happy with 2 tables at the chef's station. Also the best decision. We were able to watch John cook and chatted with him about the foods while we had dinner. We had the Roasted Eggplant and Zucchini, and a pizza. Both were fabulous! I would highly recommend this restaurant, but you might want to make a reservation. They are busy, but worth the wait!

Small and cozy restaurant in Twisp with good service, great spot for a romantic date night. Definitely recommend!
I really enjoyed their baby back ribs (super juicy and delicious) and my husband loved his pizza. The vegetable polenta was quite oily but this was also my first time tried polenta so maybe it's supposed to be like that? They also have a small selection of wine with very resonable price (though my waitress served wine in the same type of cup as our water cup, only until we ordered a bottle that wine was served in actual wine glass. I'm personally have no problems with it, it just seemed a little strange :).

My husband and I decided to do a weekend trip to the East side of the North Cascades and I found Tappi through some extensive research. We arrived when they opened and I knew I should have made a reservation—we were initially told they didn’t have room, but then the hostess ran out the door after us to offer a 7:30 reservation. It was well worth the wait. The pillow bread was incredible, the pasta was homemade and simple in the best way, and the pizza had the perfect amount of flavor. John is an incredible cook and you can tell each dish is cooked with love for his heritage and his family. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and Rachel was a delight (thank you for making room for us!!). We will definitely be back!
