There are so many things that I love about the Taylor Jay collection! I'll start with the wrap skirt.
I exclusively wear this piece as a wrap dress instead of a wrap skirt. I am a size 16 with a DD bust and it is a DREAM! I have worn it to brunch several times as a strapless dress and women LITERALLY have called down from their apartment walkways to compliment me while I walked by. I also wore the stress as a halter to a wedding and again, received compliments left and right. The best part....these compliments came for a piece that felt like pajamas!! I love pieces that require zero effort but look like I'm trying.
I also love the mission of Taylor Jay. A week ago she was at Sole Space in Oakland and we got talking about her line. She is incredibly kind and welcoming and loved hearing how her clothing made me happy and how it is helping women bond and unite (remember the complements from the apartment walkway 🤣) in a world that often times tells us that we are competitors. I am now even more happy to contribute to a small business that ultimately wants to empower and make our community better.
