Terrys Office Tavern is a great neighborhood bar that offers a comfortable place to enjoy good food. I’ve been there many times and particularly enjoy the Sunday breakfast. They are remodeling now and I look forward to more space and some outdoor seating as well!

A classic! This is a family owned tavern, has been for many, many years. When you come to Terrys you can expect to be greeted by a warm smile, followed by 'what can I get you to drink?' They offer several beers on tap, wine, soda etc and they have a great menu, they are known for their Chicken & Joe's but they also boast great Pizza, wings, burgers and sandwiches, they also have a specials menu that includes their Wednesday night Steak night, Mondays Spaghetti (with Mike's Moms special sauce) and Thursday Tacos! With ample seating and several Tv's you can expect to enjoy any one of your favorite sporting events....so come to Terrys for your favorite drink and a wonderful meal, stick around for some pool and friendly conversation with the locals...it's one of the last great family taverns!

I asked a friend who grew up in Tacoma to recommend the best fried chicken in Tacoma and Terry’s was number one on the list. I was absolutely not disappointed. I ate a whole half chicken by myself which is definitely a first. My wife got the chicken tenders and they were clearly fresh, not some flat frozen mystery chicken out of a plastic bag in the freezer. Still though, I recommend that you get the real fried chicken, not the tenders. Perfectly crispy and crunchy on the outside but juicy and moist on the inside. I’ll be back for sure.
