It's definitely got a good selection. If you're wanting something that isn't your typical fare, this place is pretty awesome. Prices are a bit too high. Probably being that close to the beach the rent likely justifies it. But I don't give high marks to any liquor store that hordes all their rare stuff and sells it for massively inflated secondary market prices. Reward your good customers or do lotteries or just put the stuff out there and let people get incredible scores. I may as well shop online for the good stuff at these prices.

Best beer & spirits selection in coastal Carlsbad! A museum selection of beers and variety of spirits. As others have noted, prices are higher than a big box store further inland. Yet, this is your place for selecting specialty beers and spirits, not your 12 pack or case of mass produced beer.
