Excellent combination of listening to customers and having technical expertise. Very highly recommended, they made me fall in love with my 7 string all over again!! Work on this particular guitar included new pickups and wiring configuration. No other shop I know of would have taken the time to have a long conversation with me (as the work was being done) to ensure everything lived up to my confusing and poorly explained expectations. In the end, they were able to install new pickups without a risky routing job on my beloved Koa guitar. Thank you for saving this beautiful and lightweight all-Koa Carvin. The 12th Fret turns excellent guitars into family heirlooms.

Though the repair of my guitar turned out to be an unexpected a journey for all involved, the folks at 12th Fret proved to be knowledgeable and generous guides. Thanks to Ray and Dan in helping turn a crappy situation into a great experience (and likely lifelong customer).

I have been taking my guitars and basses to this shop for many years. They always do exceptional work and I would not consider using another shop in the Portland area. Highly recommended!
