Love these guys. I first used them in July 2022 when I moved in and they painted my whole place and repaired the ceiling, and even helped replaced a ceiling light fixture. They even did the baseboards for free. At the time we had planned for 5-7 days and they were done in 5 with time to spare. The original quote was higher, but the Yelp ratings and reviews spoke to their experience and quality. I made sure to keep them in mind for the future
Now I needed two TVs mounted on the wall and two bathroom fans worked on. Raul first quoted me four hours, but once Frank came by, we estimated three. Yes, the pricing is higher than other quotes I received. ($250 first hour, $200 per hour afterwards). But what you get is quality.
Frank and Danny showed up on time. They were neat, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. They also kept me posted every step of the way to what they found.
TVs were easy. But the bathroom fans...wow. the first fan, once they got it out wasn't even attached to the vent. And the power cord was too short. But they resolved both issues and cleaned up the bathroom.
The second fan had been installed by the previous owner before I moved in. It's a fan/heater and the circuit is split between two switches. For the last year, I couldn't figure out why the heater switch wasn't working. So, since the new one they installed was the exact same model, I wanted Frank to look at the wiring. He checked everything and then found something shocking.
In the new fan, there is a Styrofoam piece with a big sticker that says to make sure it is removed prior to installation and using the heater. When whomever installed it, it had been left in there. It was now melted and hard. As a result, the motor that acted as the heater was now broken. So the whole fan needs to be replaced. It still works in the meantime, and I had only bought one fan.
However, this piece that was left in there was a safety hazard. I'm not sure how much problems it could have caused but considering it melted into a small hard piece could not have been good, so I am very glad that Frank found it.
Total time was 2 hours and 10 minutes. I was already going to throw in a little extra because these guys are so good and fast but after finding that piece and preventing a future issue, I definitely gave them a little more. They worked hard and deserve it.
Yes, the pricing can be tough at first, but twice now they have finished sooner than the original budgeted time, and the workmanship speaks for itself. It might be a while before I have another list of tasks to do, but these guys are on my list to call first.
