Attended a wedding here a couple weeks ago. Things went decent except for the groomsmen private room was robbed sometime immediately after the ceremony.
Now I understand the robbery isn’t the venues fault; but the venues reaction to it is the issue. They had security cameras that “don’t work because we got new phones last week”, they blamed the wedding party for leaving their valuables in the the groomsmen shed unlocked, even though the venue provided coordinator took all their phones, wallets, and keys and put them in the shed herself (and was the last one in there before the robbery). They also continue, even now, to not own up to their own mistake and have been rude to the bride and groom since the events. The venue host, Penny, had the gall to demand payment for the bartender (the venue host’s son) at the end of the night despite having been robbed. She couldn’t wait a day to let things settle before looking for payment.
To summarize; wedding party got robbed during the ceremony (phones,wallets, keys, and a car), venues security measures were (knowingly to the host) not working, venue hosts (Doug and Penny) blame the wedding party on the robbery for leaving valuables in provided rooms despite venue coordinator placing them in there. Zero care from the venue, despite their lack of security measures.
Traumatic event on what’s supposed to be the best day of their lives, but for the venue it’s just another wedding to which they made their money and another robbery on their property.

Guests are always blown away by the beauty of the venue, and it truly makes our food presentation pop against such a picturesque backdrop.
