Back in the day I was never impressed with this mall. Seemed kind of sad and did not have good shopping options. We like to come to their movie theater and now that they have some bigger box stores attached to the mall, it seems much busier and not empty like all the other malls are turning into. The movie theater here is one of the best IMO
The Worst Security Head All-Around
Take your money and spend it elsewhere, my fellow Boeing friends. This place is worse than some third-world countries.
My friends and I met up for the fishing lures demo. We decided to go inside the mall and get a table for 3-4 of us. When we sat down, I noticed a ball-headed white guy in a black shirt and grey slacks come around to tell the uniformed security employee to do something. I didn't quite hear what he said. He then took off. I believe he’s the head of security at this mall.
While we were talking, that same uniformed security (he) walked back and forth. Minutes later, he stopped by and said, “Guys, my boss is telling me you cannot play here.” That is how the uniform security officer talked to the educated minority adults (50-60 years old). I said, “Playing? We are doing a demo here.” The security guy stood there and repeated himself. It's probably the lack of people skills, but it seems like racism driven from the top, telling the minority employee to kick out other minorities.
We were going to have lunch at the mall after the demo, but we decided to cut it short when security stood there and made sure we left.
Sitting and having a conversation about fishing is troublesome for these guys. I wonder if they prefer looting vs. sitting and doing peaceful activities.
Anyway, Macy’s is no longer there, so there's no reason for me to go to this mall anymore. That's my last trip to this mall unless the security head is getting replaced with someone new who treats everyone with respect regardless of their skin color.
