A bustling location where we were happy to find on-street seating under umbrellas. We seem to have caught their bagel supplier, Jackie's Bakery, on a so-so day and one of us was convinced the bagel had been frozen and then re-thawed. The management was very responsive to our complaint and so I'm giving them all five stars. The smoked salmon bagel was quite good and the vinaigrette dressing on a side salad was especially good. We had three different iced coffees and all were very good (sometimes not an easy trick to pull shots that will hold up to ice). Service was good but the ordering situation is hectic in the mornings and you'll need to take care to find seating then get back to the counter once or twice to pick up beverages and food. All said, we found it a good place to get a quick breakfast on Venice Beach.

This sandwich was perfect! It was a "create your own" black forest ham on ciabatta with some veggies, evoo, and balsamic vinegar and they did not miss! I would come back to Venice for this sandwich again. I love how they toasted the bread a little bit, but it was still very soft. Delicious sandwich!

Great little spot, for people watching. However as a coffee snob that is on the lookout for a perfect flat white, you failed miserably. Rated as the my worst flat white ever, in the US. I had a double espresso with a little steamed milk. The drink was luke warm and very little evidence of coffee flavour on the palette.
My partner had a Complete Smoothy and she loved it.
Full disclosure: I am a coffee snob.
