The Dalles Art Center

Good place to spend 15 minutes browsing the art. Quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and a nice selection of local art. For those who want something to take home, but don't wish to spend a lot, they have a nice selection of postcards as well.

Friendly, with a diverse selection of fine art and fine crafts well presented. Also large,well equipped, class spaces. Highly recommend.

They are always friendly and inviting. My favorite part of going in is finding out the back story from the pieces they have on exhibit. There is always something interesting in there.
