Tasty entre and dessert that fell somewhat short, but were made up by the phenomenal location. I chose to sit indoors, just over from the window, and had a nice view of the water.
The burger was char grilled, of deluxe proportion, seasoned well, and heaped with a nice assortment of toppings. However, the cheese wasn't melted and the brioche was an inch thick on top and 1/8 inch on the bottom. It didn't make it easy to eat as the juice from the burger saturated the bottom sliver of the bun. French fries were delicious; a tiny dish of ketchup on the side was barely enough to accommodate the full plate of them.
The pricey desert had two large scoops of outstanding gelato, both chocolate and vanilla flavors. They advertised salted Spanish peanuts on the sundae but only regular roasted peanuts were added on top. The lady fingers on the bottom were dry, powdery and fairly hard. Like the burger, it started great but other events detracted from the result. A dish of gelato from the shop up the street would have been better.
